Waldorf early teaching methods offer a developmentally appropriate, experiential, and academically rigorous approach to education. Rudolf Steiner established Waldorf education in Stuttgart, Germany in the year 1919. Its pedagogy strives to develop students’ intellectual, artistic, and practical skills in an integrated and holistic manner. The cultivation of students’ imagination and creativity is the central focus. The need for imagination, a sense of truth, and a feeling of responsibility – these are the three forces which are very nerve of education. Waldorf education aims to inspire life-long learning in all students and to enable them to fully develop their unique capacities.
