Waldorf early teaching methods offer a developmentally appropriate, experiential, and academically rigorous approach to education.
We like to challenge our children with a multifarious and blended curriculum which is activity rich and focuses on experiential learning.
A Unique Curriculum
Every child at TBPSB is inspired to be an imaginative, inventive and freethinking child, who will grow up to contribute to society for a sustainable environment with vision and purpose. Our curriculum is a unique blend of EYFS, U.K, Waldorf inspired teaching methods, NCERT and Cambridge/Oxford textbooks.
EYFS Education
Department of Education, Govt of U.K., specifies that every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child’s experiences between birth and age five have a major impact on their future. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right and that good parenting and high quality early learning together provide the foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets the standards that all EYFS schools should ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. It promotes teaching and learning to ensure children’s ‘school readiness’ and gives children a broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life.
Waldorf Inspired Education
Waldorf early teaching methods offer a developmentally appropriate, experiential, and academically rigorous approach to education. Rudolf Steiner established Waldorf education in Stuttgart, Germany in the year 1919. Its pedagogy strives to develop students’ intellectual, artistic, and practical skills in an integrated and holistic manner. The cultivation of students’ imagination and creativity is the central focus. The need for imagination, a sense of truth, and a feeling of responsibility – these are the three forces which are very nerve of education. Waldorf education aims to inspire life-long learning in all students and to enable them to fully develop their unique capacities.
