Lydia Anthony
Lydia Anthony, Teacher in our Toddlers’ Classroom, started at TBPSB in June, 2015. After college education, to pursue her field of interest, Lydia specialized in early learning education. A very positive person, Lydia, always loved working with children and believes that providing a space that caters to everyone’s individuality will instill a love for learning throughout their entire life. Her immense patience is the reason why she is been teaching toddlers ever since 2015. Her efforts were recognized by Maple Bear, Canada, by awarding her “The Best Teacher Award” in the year 2018. In her spare time, Lydia loves cooking, travelling, and working out. Her goal is to work every day to improve herself and her skills to make each child of her class know that schooling time is the most interesting time of the day.

Vandana Ranganath
Vandana Ranganath, a qualified HR professional, (did a PG Diploma course in HR), worked as an HR Lead at a private sector undertaking before embracing teaching. She possesses a true love for learning and a passion for working with young children. She has since completed additional coursework in Early Childhood Education while working at TBPSB. Vandana has a natural ability to care for, understand and connect with children. She believes that confidence and self-awareness can be achieved amongst students by regular positive reinforcement, which she instills in her teaching methods daily. She describes herself as a creative, honest and enthusiastic teacher. To Vandana teaching children is not only a passion but her life’s mission. She also enjoys cooking, playing with her son and travelling to her native place Shimoga makes her feel blissful.

Priya Darshini
Priyadarshini feels she’s her own person, a person who makes mistakes, laughs, cries, smiles and loves. She considers herself as a friendly and open-minded person. After working in the HR domain, Priya took up early childhood education. Children’s enthusiasm for learning attracted her to teaching. Priya loves to see the way little faces light up with a smile when she enters the school. She feels that real test to her ability is making the child lovingly take up the task and ask her a million questions. Priya wish is to live life with intent, kindness and vibrancy that will invigorate not only her but others too. She feels TBPSB is the best place to work as it gives her operational freedom. Her hobbies are collecting vintage items, listening to music and travelling.

Swathi Ravi
Swathi likes to ensure creating a congenial atmosphere in the Nursery classroom that helps children learn to be comfortable and thrive in new settings. Her activities as a teacher in the Nursery class primarily include preparing material for children’s activity ready on time. Swathi loves teaching the three-year-old old children as it’s an immense responsibility to take over the mother’s role who’s been till then child’s first teacher. Swathi likes to create a harmonious environment for children to accomplish their task set in small group activities. It gives her a great sense of accomplishment to be able to mould young minds. Her hobbies are cooking and swimming.

Lakshmi Kini
Lakshmi Kini joined us in the year 2013 and since had taken up a variety of roles such as Toddler teacher, Daycare teacher and school coordinator. She loves to work continuously because she likes what she does and is passionate about her work. Lakshmi handles work efficiently and with a smile. Children motivate her a lot and their smile drives her to do her best to ensure that children are safe and secure. She loves reading stories, singing rhymes and dancing. Kid’s creative skills amaze her and she loves to dance with children. Her hobbies include travelling, learning languages and artwork. She likes to be remembered as a kind, considerate and compassionate human being.

Rekha
Rekha, a Double-Degree Graduate, has been working for four years and has been a teacher in the JKG class. Rekha earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Education. Further, she did a Diploma course in Teacher Education. Rekha describes herself as a curious mind and her thirst for learning new things motivates her to continue education even after obtaining two degrees. The opportunity to be a daily part of children’s preliminary education experiences excites her a lot. She sometimes can be assertive in making children understand the ‘math concepts’. She believes children at early age should start liking the process of learning. Rekha loves reading stories, doing craftwork, singing rhymes and dancing with children. She also likes travelling to her native place and spending time with her mom and son.

Kasi Annapurna
Kasi Annapurna, Teacher in our SKG Classroom, excels in teaching senior students in an early childhood education setting. She is the mother of two children. As a teacher of our school’s senior students, her goal is to foster independence. She likes to give independence to a certain extent, which allows children to become more confident in themselves and creates a sense of self-worth and achievement. She works with each student so that they learn discipline, patience, strong coping skills, and skills for good social interactions. Annapurna gives equal importance to making young students develop good language skills. Year on year, she longingly waits for summer break so that she can travel to her village in Andhra Pradesh to be with her parents.
